Great Small Business Website Designs :

AJ's Site DesigNZ, helping you get your business website online

Imagine taking a website that looks like this.....

and transforming it into something like this.

Just having a website is not enough for your small business - not if you want to attract any sort of meaningful traffic. Sure, a great looking site is a good start. But when somebody types "window cleaner in Dallas" (for example) into a Google search, it really doesn't matter what your site looks like - if your Dallas window cleaning business isn't near the top of that first page of results, then your business will suffer.

Great small business website design means having your webpages featuring highly in search results. Better SE ranking = more traffic. And more traffic = more leads/product sales/signups/inquiries.

Sounds simple?

Here at AJ's Site DesigNZ you get one thing, and one thing only. The very best website for your business, at a price you can afford.

During ten years of web design, I have always stood behind one very simple philosophy...

Simplistic? Perhaps, but it has stood my customers in good stead over the years. Your success is important to me...this is not some big design company that just wants to turn projects around in the shortest possible time.

From the initial website concept, right through to getting those first pages online, you get advice, help and support. And when your project is complete, there is always follow up training/coaching available to ensure you get the best out of your new website.

Want to see results?

Actions (and results) speak louder than words. Take a look at some of the design work done by AJ's site desigNZ, or view some of the rankings achieved in Google's search engine. The results are impressive. You can have results like this as well.... contact me for more information.

What customers say about AJ's Site DesigNZ

The End Of An Era

Well, the day has finally come. Wednesday, May 9th 2012, and the capped fluid width template for SBIers has been withdrawn from public sale.

I would like to thank all those that supported me (and the template!) over the past five years. It's been a great ride, and I've enjoyed your company. But like all rides, it comes to an end, sooner or later.

Times change, technology advances, and what was great yesterday, can be out of date tomorrow. Such is the way of the world. But those that know me, will probably guess I haven't been sitting still these past five years. Far from it.

So, my energies are now directed towards a very exciting template project.

Once again, thank you for all your support over these past five years. It has been a pleasure to not only give you a great website template, but to talk with those that purchased it, and see all the different ways that it was used. It gives me a lot of satisfaction to know that so many websites out there now have benefited from using it.

So goodbye, Capped Fluid Width, and welcome to the future, the mobile friendly Ultimate Modular Template.

Best regards, AJ

Which is better - a two column or a three column layout?

What if I were to suggest neither of these? Using a template that has either 2 or 3 columns, locks you into arranging your content to conform to that layout. Suppose there was an easy way to make your website template conform to the needs of your content, instead of the other way around?

Imagine if you could build your page with 1-6 columns, "mix and match" any layout, and duplicate complex designs simply by copy/pasting the provided code snippets onto your webpage? For example, if you wanted to start a webpage as a traditional three column, change to fours columns lower down, revert back to threee columns, and then finish with six product boxes that span the full width of the page? Could you do it - quickly, easily, and without having to be an expert in html/css?

Need you website to be "mobile friendly"?

That is actually a rhetorical question... if you are not "mobilized" then you are turning away customers right now, it's as simple as that. The only real question is, how many?

Predictions for the mobile market are staggering. In another 6-12 months, you may well find that you get more mobile visitors to your website than "normal" desktop computer visitors. Are you going to let that traffic leave your website for other more accessible ones, simply because you haven't bothered to cater to them?

As of 2012, all web designs done by small-business-website-designz.com are "mobile friendly". Your pages will display perfectly on smart phones, such as Android and iOS. People using these devices won't need to zoom and scroll to see your content...it will be automatically presented to them in a perfect format for viewing...single column, and styled appropriately for phones. The little details that make a difference to smart phone users are all taken care of for you. Things like clickable phone numbers, mobile specific adsense sizes, slimline header, easily clickable links etc etc.

Naturally, that will not affect the look or performance of you site when viewed by a regular desktop browser. Those people will still see the fullwidth design.

Want to do it yourself?

If you want to create your own mobile friendly design, but don't know where to start, then check this out! You can get the template and instructions for use, and create your own.

Why pay thousands of dollars to get a mobile solution elsewhere, when you can do it for the price of a good restaurant meal? If you are familiar enough with HTML/CSS to use other website templates, then you CAN use this one. No special skills or knowledge of mobile devices is needed.
